The Different Ways to Consume CBD
According to studies, an estimated 64 million U.S. Citizens have used CBD in the last 24 months.
The idea of being able to use CBD for medical or recreational purposes has quickly taken off in recent years.
It’s clear that there are lots of benefits to using CBD, but how does it work? Is there a difference between CBD Oil, CBD Tinctures, or Vape Juice? What about Concentrates or Capsules?
With all the different ways to consume CBD, it can be tough figuring out what will suit you best. That’s why we created this post, so you can find the most effective way to consume CBD.
1. Using Oils
CBD oil is one of the most popular forms of taking CBD due to its versatility and quick absorption into the body. It is also by far the most cost-effective option as well as having the widest range of uses.
CBD Oil, as it sounds, is oil that contains CBD suspended in a carrier oil such as MCT Coconut Oil or Hemp Oil.
Oils are available with different concentrations of CBD and the type of oil you use affects how quickly the product will take effect.
2. Using Tinctures
Ever heard of CBD tinctures? CBD tinctures are a very popular way of consuming CBD due to their effectiveness and convenience.
Tinctures usually come in small dropper bottles and can be applied directly under your tongue for fast absorption into the body – around 15-30 seconds later depending on the concentration of CBD you’re using it has an almost instantaneous effect!
Tinctures contain vegetable glycerine for maximum absorption and taste great too! Be aware that they do not produce as strong effects as CBD Oils or Vape Juice.
3. Using Vape Juice
Vape juice is becoming more and more popular as the recent vaping trend starts to take off. But what’s great is that you can now use vape juice to consume CBD!
With a single puff, you’ll feel relaxed and ready to tackle whatever comes your way.
CBD vape juice comes in various concentrations and flavors and will give you an almost instantaneous effect. The only downside of CBD Vape Juice is that its effects aren’t as long-lasting as using oils or tinctures.
They’re absorbed into the body super quickly so it may be best for use just before going out.
4. Using CBD Capsules
Often viewed as the best way to consume CBD, capsules are a simple way to take CBD on the go. You can swallow them without tasting and they’re effective, but there is one downside: they contain the least number of milligrams per capsule as opposed to oils, tinctures, and vape juice.
This means that you need more capsules for the same effect as using other forms of taking CBD.
